These are natural Tektites, collected in China.
They are opaque with a pitted surface.
These are known as “Indochinites” and are approximately 700,000 years old.
Tektite originates as a result of meteorite impact on terrestrial or lunar rocks. The tektites then form when molten rock fly through the air hardening into natural glass.
Throughout history, mankind has regard tektites as magical and uncanny. The word tektite is of Greek origin meaning “molten” but the Chinese referred to them as “Inkstone of the Thundergod.” Australian Aborigines called them Maban, meaning “magic.”
In Indian they are known as the “sacred gem of Krishna.” The Sanskrit name, Agni Mani, is translated as “fire pearl” or “teardrops from the moon.”
