    Antique Flint Glass Shield & Tree Cup Plate, LR-95, Possibly New England Glass Co., c. 1828-1832. This is a very pretty glass cup plate in a rare decagonal shape. For such an early cup plate this has a very detailed design with shields and trees surrounded by stars and geometric patterns. This cup plate is one of the earliest of the flint lacy glass type and it is heavy and thick. This pattern is Lee-Rose #65 and it was possibly produced at the New England Glass Co.. I offer this flint glass cup plate here with a Buy It Now . DIMENSIONS: This cup plate is 1/2" thick x 3 5/8" Dia. CONDITION: The condition is very good with minimal roughness and no damage. There are also straw marks, bubbles, sand and other imperfections in the glass typical of glassware from this very early period.
