The Mega 4Bank DMX Ballast from Kino Flo provides AC power for 6' and 8' Mega 4Bank fluorescent heads. It has a universal power supply and runs on 100-240 VAC for worldwide use. Since the ballast is separate from the fixture it gives you the opportunity to run them up to 75' apart - an important benefit for sets with fixtures rigged overhead or in hard to reach places. The Double Ballast has light intensity control via 1-4 lamp off-switching and also has Standard and High Output (HO) switching to control color spikes. All of these settings can be controlled remotely via a DMX control board. The ballast uses 5 addresses - 4 for the lambs and 1 for HO/Std switching. The ballast also has a time-saving Auto Terminate function that automatically terminates the last DMX ballast for proper functioning. The Mega 4Bank Ballast provides a quick return on investment through low energy use. It draws only 4.3A at 120 VAC.
