This is a nice piece of AA grade real Moldavite from the Czech Republic.
This is from the Chlum area of the Czeck republic.
It measures about  1 1/8" by 1/2" by 2/8" thick
Weighs 2.53 grams
These are a few new pieces are from one of my regular distributors. They just received them from
a collector. Very high grade and larger than the last batch and yes a bit expensive, but beautiful
almost museum grade.

Moldavite is the only extraterrestrial gemstone known to man and can only be found in a small area of the Czech Republic. This green, translucent gem is very rare and it's exact origin is still a mystery. The main theory of the origin of these amazing semi-precious stones says that they were formed under huge temperatures and pressures during the impact of a meteorite on Earth roughly 14 million years ago. Another words Terrestrial and Extraterrestrial material molded together to form this stone.
