From Montblanc's 1999 Limited Edition collection, produced for only one year to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Meisterstuck line, comes this
Solitaire series rollerball in Sterling Silver, finished in the Barley
(officially called "Grain d'Orge")
pattern.
The Limited Edition of only 1924 pieces is distinguished by the red gold accents and the mother-of-pearl Montblanc emblem, in addition to the cap top showing the "75 years of passion" ornament with a diamond in the "O" position.
Do not confuse this Limited Edition with the basic ("special anniversary") edition, which does not have the red gold accents or the mother-of-pearl emblem, and is not limited to 1924 pieces or numbered.
The pen is in pristine condition, numbered, and with its Limited Edition box and paperwork included. The natural light patina on the red gold is beautiful. There is no tarnishing to the silver as its transparent protective layer is fully intact. You are not likely to find another example of this exquisite pen in such a condition and at this price point.
