Leonard Bernstein was a musician throught and through. Whether he was conductiong, composing, teaching or playing the piano, he always did it with true passion.
This pen's gold-plated cap rings are inscribed with music and lyrics from the song "Maria" from "West Side Story" and are a testimony to Bernstein's musical ability. The clip is fashioned in the artistically curved shape of a clef symbol. As a musical finishing touch, the elaborate presentation box that comes with the pen contains a compact disc featuring highlights of Bernstein's musical career.
This pen, first model from Donation pens series, comes in very good condition with all original boxes, papers and original packaging. Namely: display box (worn), CD (A tribute to Leonard Bernstein, selections from
West Side Story
and more), MB personal guide (the concerned pen was purchased in June 1997. Papers are duly stamped by an Italian authorized MB dealer).
