The pen is used but in excellent condition, the precious resin on the pen is near mint, so it shines like a brand new pen. The gold plated fittings can have very slight minor markings, but does not affect the look or shine of the parts in the slightest. Also this pen does not have the Montblanc Pix trademark under the clip, this was started by Montblanc around 1997 to prevent counterfeiting, and this pen is before that time.
