For your consideration is a Montblanc Meisterstuck burgundy ballpoint pen with gold trim. Has very light wear but no damage; no scratches, chips, cracks or repairs. The balllpoint pen still extends and retracts via cap. While researching this item, I see a lot of people use terms such as "164R" but this pen only says (1) "Montblanc Mistestuck" around the gold ring as seen in third and fourth pictures; (2) "bb252337 Germany" around the end as seen in sixth picture and (3) "Chase Ambase 0,000,000 May 1990" on the body as seen in the second picture. My colleague and I do not know what "Chase Ambase" means; my colleague thinks it has to do with banking; I think it could have been someone's name. There are no markings on or underneath the clip. Quarter used to illustrate scale in penultimate picture. Montblanc ink for documents inside pen as seen in the last picture.
The pictures reflect the condition and beauty of the piece accurately except around the gold - the piece reflected my camera; i.e. there are no blemishes/tarnishes in the gold.
