Montblanc created the Scenium Artist Packaging series in 2005 - an elegant set of Scenium writing tools offered in unusual packaging created by famous artists and based on three gift motifs: love, friendship and gratitude.
The Montblanc Scenium Artist Packaging "Jim Davis" series is made in collaboration with Jim Davis, creator of the widely-known animated cartoon character of the Garfield cat. Jim Davis, who is a fancier of fountain pens, said: "It was an honor for me to create an artwork for Montblanc." Especially for packaging a set of Montblanc Scenium Artist Packaging "Jim Davis" written instruments, including a ballpoint pen and a rollerball. As a result, the gift wrapping of this collection of pens will not only be an elegant desktop tool, but also a collector's item.
The Montblanc Scenium Ballpoint is equipped with click mechanism. The cap and barrel are composed of a black metal. The cap is adorned with a sliver toned clip and ring which is engraved with the Montblanc Logo. The ever famous Montblanc Star rests on top of the cap.
