    This is a

    SLICE OF THE NWA 10153 MARTIAN NAKHLITE METEORITE,
    that was part of a single
    stone recovery
    .
    The
    NWA 10153 meteorite was absent of fusion crust when found and is a highly fragile piece
    that can easily be broken.  The cut surface is highly granular and possesses a visual combination of grey-green and beige components.  The Martian Nakhlite NWA10153 is believed to have originated during Martian volcano formations.  Evidence points to the meteorite being infused with water at some point during it's formation about 620 million years ago.
