Sikhote Alin was the largest iron fall in  century, raining black, fusion crusted irons over southeast Russia in 1947. Sikhote Alins smooth, black surface is it's most distinguishing feature and has made it a must-have for collectors of all levels.  Unfortunately, the SA strewnfield has been entirely hunted out for some time, making this once plentiful iron relatively rare, particularly for quality specimens.
